Bob received adequate feedback. done New ARs: - Bob will submit the BUG238 report to the open forum for classification. Discussion: Mike LaBonte responded to Bob's request about bugs. Mike commented on BUG228 message. The message does not tell line number of the wrong text. Also, it does not specify if the error is in the EMD or IBS file. Neither issue is severe, but both would be nice to include in the error message. Changing the message text would requre a complete new version of the parser with associated testing. There is a new BUG238 from Michael regarding incorrect [Interconnect Model] errors. The file syntax is actually correct, so the errors from the parser should not be issued. The issue is using the same node name in different interconnect models in the same set. If the node names are equal in different model calls the parser issues an error. The specification states that these nodes are simply connected. The error might be changed to a caution so the model author can double-check the intended connectivity. Bub suggests in the BUG report changing the ERROR to CAUTION and editing the error message to clarify "identical pin_names." [AR] Bob will submit the BUG report to the open forum for classification. The group had a long discussion about possible usage of interconnect models with possible parameter passing to easily create variations of interconnect. The solution is probably to create a BIRD from the interconnect task group. Quality Specification and checklist power aware discussion: No discussion Tabled topics (no discussion without motion): - None Michael moved to adjourn. Randy seconded. Without objection the meeting ended. Meeting ended: 12:59 pm ET Next meeting 25 OCT 2022
